Elba 2024

Where we're going this year

Elba 2024

"After a season spent in Sardinia, this year we decided to return to our beloved Tuscany, to let us discover or rediscover theTuscan archipelago and the north of Corsica."

A sailing holiday among the most beautiful and peaceful destinations in the Mediterranean The island of Elba is a true jewel: a complete, green island with crystal-clear waters and charming harbours, where you can breathe in the glorious past that dates back to the ancient Romans.

Culture and history

Although the island has been adequately preserved, it is still possible to spend fine evenings in the various bars and restaurants of typical villages such as Marciana Marina, or in the 'capital' Portoferraio, or in the delightful village of Porto Azzurro. It also seems to have been created for pleasure boating as it offers safe shelter for both day and night in any wind, and is therefore particularly suitable for family cruises with children.

Nature and the sea

It can be circumnavigated unhurriedly in about a week, stopping in delightful bays for swimming and relaxation. Don't miss the most beautiful sunset in the entire archipelago from the Viticcio roadstead, the roadstead of Punta Fetovaia, the spectacular white beach of Sansone and the Paolina rock where Napoleon's sister was said to love sunbathing without veils.

The unknown island

It is also possible to sail to the wild island of Capraia, a natural paradise that few people know about and home to part of the cetacean sanctuary where it is possible to spot groups of dolphins. Cala Rossa, Cala del Moreto and the port of Capraia are some of the possible stops at anchor.

For those who love sailing

For the more curious and sailing enthusiasts, it is then possible to explore the north of Corsica, which is also wild and somewhat 'exotic', as the wonderful beaches of the 'désert des Agriates' demonstrate; Lotu and Saleccia beaches being among the most important. Here you can also stop in the harbour of Saint Florent, a typical Corsican village by the sea, and in Centuri, a picturesque fishing village.
